The matrix and Lascaux
In class today we watched some parts of the matrix and something I found interesting was that Morpheus said "we are all slaves" and when I got to thinking about it, some people are like that in reality just working to survive and in a way that seems like slavery to me or what do u guys think about that? Also I found the Lascaux cave fascinating and I would like to one day visit it.

I agree completely. We all thrive, and depend on a system to keep society together. We give up some personal (and mental, to a point) freedom in order for the system to function. Obviously The Matrix dives deeper than it just being a governmental control, but it is true that we are all slaves to some point of the system.
ReplyDeleteI agree because Morpheus is said that "every one is a slaves" and how matrix is used in neo movie. It was not any freedom in order to control a government. The cave art in lascaux will be interesting to visit in future
